South Africa has made the top 20 of the most dangerous places on earth according to the Telegraph a british newspaper website.

South Africa suffers from a high level of violent crime, including rape and murder, although most visits to the country are trouble-free as the majority of cases occur in townships and areas away from tourist destinations. Robberies and car-jackings at gunpoint are increasingly common.

Although they might have it wrong about where the crime occurs, because it occurs in rich neighborhoods as well this should be something to add to the wonderful stats of our country. As usual the government denies this and calls it ridiculous but the truth is South Africa is one of the most dangerous places on the face of the planet.
